I have taken my fair share of technical exams for career certification. For Cisco I’ve taken the CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, and CCIE, plus numerous other exams including the PIX and content engine exams. Prior to Cisco I took the Microsoft exams and had my MCSE. And still before that was Novell when I took the CNA exam. Almost every time I took one of these exams I would prepare by reading a book on the related topic and buy a practice exam.
In the old days it was Transcender. I used Transcender exams faithfully to pass both the Novell and Microsoft exams. Then later when I started my Cisco training it was Boson. Boson is really great, and nowadays also Udemy has plenty of resources.
I must be honest telling you that when I found TestKing and Pass4Sure, like many colleagues too afraid to disappoint our manager, I used them to prepare my exams.
Why you should NOT use Pass4Sure or TestKing
I tried both TestKing and Pass4Sure exams to help me study. I recently took a CCIE bootcamp at CCBootCamp – see the post Getting Excellent Training for the CCIE. During and after the class I used both the CCIE Pass4Sure exam and the TestKing exam to gauge my knowledge. Even though I knew the material, the exam questions were worded in a very tricky way. These tests got me over that last hump and I passed the CCIE written exam.
The problem is that Pass4Sure and TestKing are not exam preparation material. They are the exact exam somehow ‘stolen’.
There are all kinds of rumors that float around about some of the newer exams. Rumors of guys sitting around in a testing facility somewhere to essentially copy the test. I don’t know for certain if this is true. I do know that the ‘practice exam’, as they call it, is damn close to the real thing.
What I know, is that using these braindumps won’t make you a better network engineer.
They are illegal and IT vendors are cracking down on them, changing exams more often and adding more practical tests.
So please stop thinking that braindumps are the only way to pass certification exams.
At the end of the day, when you sit in an interview for a Network Engineer position, you are going to be tested for your real technical knowledge as well as your soft skills. In that situation, you will not have any brain dump helping you so if you cheat on the certification exam, you are basically shooting yourself in the foot.
You’re fooling yourself and supporting unethical companies.

Be very careful of these other sites. There are a lot of impostors out there. The links on this only point to the REAL testking.com. We have heard many reports of people getting ripped off by these imitators.

I used actualtests to practice for exam type questions, but when I took the 70-640 exam I noticed the exam was 70% different from what ActualTests had. I still passed the exam, because of the experience, but just wondering. Is there anything else out there which is more up to date?

I can't comment on ActualTests as I have never used them. I have used Boson in the past which are top notch. The questions aren't exact as you will find on the real test but they do make sure you understand the concepts.
I've had good experience with Pass4Sure and Testking both even though they can have a lot of typo's and grammatical mistakes. I wonder sometimes about these two companies because the exam question look like they are taken DIRECTLY from the real exam. I used the pass4sure practice exam to pass my CCIE written and had no trouble at all.
The best thing we all can do is leave feedback here so that we all can benefit!
Are you kidding??!!! PassforSure is full of spelling errors and simulations that are completely broken. Not to mention questions that aren't even decipherable with the grammar used.
I would definitely NOT get PassforSure. Boson is great and Transcender…eh.
Pass4Sure has LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I inadvertantly placed an order for the wrong exam. I realized my mistake, then immediately placed an order for the correct exam and asked for a refund on my first order. They said NO – we don't take responsibility. Real nice.
I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with TEST KING 640-802 product. Not only were there BANNERS all covering every diagram, making it very difficult to see much needed information, the worst thing is that there is a NON ADVERTISED, NON DISCLOSED, TIME LIMIT on the product, so they force you to spend more money which since I am unemployed, I don't have, to extend for another 90 days, to use a product that I PURCHASED!!! I understand NOT being able to get updates, but to not be able to use what I purchased? NO NO NO!!!! NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM TEST KING!! THEY ARE RIP OFF ARTISTS!!! there are also mistakes in the answers!!!

I found website called http://www.testkingworld.net and While I was searching for the authenticity of this website, I came across this forum, Great Website. Test King World [dot] Net offers $79 unlimited access for a year, sounds to good to be true – they claimed themselves to be UK based. If any of you guys have ideas, please let me know. I am Networking Student, I want to do CCNA but I am thinking on ICND 1and 2 for easy going.
And Do you guys know about SAP in IT, like where can I study and so on…

Those of you, who used pass4sure.com site, I have a questions.
Did you encounter any difficulties in ordering the pass4sure tests.
I made the payment for CTT+ exam, however, the site stated at the bottom of the "pay now" button "After hitting this button, wait 10-15 minutes, do not refresh or make payment again, if nothing shows up contact us" something similar to these lines. I waited for 30 minutes, nothing happened, when I scrolled down on the screen it said "having trouble purchasing online?" below it was two choices: Moneybooker and Western Union. Are these legitimate sites? I have spoken to my bank already and there is no band on my credit card.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I left two e-mails and done the on-site chatting with Pass4sure. But no response.

Can i write all the CCNP modules exams at once. I'm using pass4sure and hope to pass as well, because i used it for CCNA and passed once.

You could schedule all of the CCNP tests in one day but I would not recommend it. The CCNP tests take your knowledge and skills to the next level and are very focused on each technology.
If you feel very confident and prepared for all of the tests — I would recommend taking the switching test first. As soon as you pass, if you still feel ready, schedule the router test. When you pass this test and you feel ready, schedule the troubleshooting test.
Remember all of the CCNP tests are brand new so you may want to take some time to be extra prepared.

I can say that the Pass4Sure for CCIE written was a cbt style test. It was a software application that I loaded on my laptop and was a test simulator. I believe these impostors must be simply selling the info in pdf files.

I have to unfortunately take the CTT+ exam (requirement for the job), I have come accross http://www.pass4sure.me and http://www.pass4sure.com but both have different price for test tk0-201. The company put me on limit budget. Also TestKing is something that would fit in the budget.
Your expert opinion and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Pass4Sure.com is the official site. I would stay clear of pass4sure.me. I'm not sure what that is about. It looks questionable to me. For TestKing tests, they are very comparable to Pass4Sure and can provide you will some good study material too. I personally like Pass4Sure better and have had success with Pass4Sure.

Both pass4sure.me & testking.me are hoax sites. The weird thing is that they will take your money via the official secure payment methods (pre-registered), meaning they themselves must be officially registered businesses!
For me, I was working on PMI PMP exam and was in a hurried/pressured state of mind not checking anything, and took the whole bait & tackle with testking.me, then once I opened all the files downloaded, found antiquated material and 'scanned' material, totally useless.
Having realised too late (even the email domain was totally different), I replied back to them and CC'd the authentic testking.com. Testking.com replied back warning me of testking.me, and SURPRISINGLY, testking.me replied and refunded me the whole amount back into my account with no apology….. phew!!
A WAKE UP CALL FOR ME of the malicious/deceitful world we live in.
FYI – As i had no more time left & did NOT use any testking/pass4sure material, and passed on my first attempt the PMI PMP exam, 200 questions in 4hours.

In the old days, I used the Transcender exams to help pass the MS MCSE exams. They were wonderful! But that was a few years back.
Today, I failed my CCNA (640-802) exam after using the Transcenders (after a month of heavy studying/labs). The questions I saw on the real test were no where close to the questions offered by Transcender. I was scoreing in the mid to upper 90% on the Transcenders, but was only able to eek out a miserable 770 on the real test (825 to pass).
I haven't tried the full tests for Pass4sure or TestKing yet, but their demo versions were very much in line with what I just saw on the real test. Let's hope Transcender stands behind their "Pass-First-Time" Guarantee.
I know exactly what you mean. I used transcender's too for Microsoft and passed. It sucks they havent kept up with being as good for CIsco. Thanks for the feedback on CCNA. I hope they either refund your money or you test fee.
I personally have used Pass4Sure and passed CCNP and CCIE written tests without a hitch. I recommend them highly!
I purchased the Pass4Sure Cisco CCNA 640-802 software test. I did all of the just over 600 questions and passed each section with at least a 90%. This morning, I went and took my test. I failed, miserably (790). There were maybe 2-3 (at best) similar questions from the Pass4sure exam and the Cisco exam. I also read the Exam Cram book, the Cisco Press ICND 1 and ICND 2 books, and completed the Cisco simulator software. I have worked in this field for over 10 years. The last time I took the CCNA was 10 years ago and I only missed 1 question on the test. So considering all of the experience I have (and yes I do work for one largest ISP's in the United States and have since February 17, 2000 which is mainly a Cisco powered network), all the studying I did and I still failed, shows that this product is over 90% worthless. The real Cisco CCNA exam only provided me with at best, 3 questions from Pass4sure, out of a total of 50 that Cisco asks. So from my experience (test date May 8, 2010), the Pass4Sure exam software is basically worthless.

Sorry to hear about not passing. It always sucks when that happens. Not to defend Pass4Sure or any testing software… but those test simulators can only help you with the multiple choice questions. The router simulators found on the CCNA test can do you in if your not prepared. The new CCNA is much more hands on then it was in the past.
You should send an email to Pass4Sure — many testing providers give a money back guarantee if you fail. Its worth a shot.
Personally I used the Pass4Sure exam prep for the CCIE R&S exam and passed it with flying colors. It was really sad, because the questions on the Pass4Sure were exactly like they were on the test.
My only suggestion for you, is to look at the exams results, find out where you weak points were and study those some more and retake the exam. Gotta get back on that horse!

Forget about pass4sure, i bought their software for Flex 4 and failed the test (2011, April), not only that, when I complained about failing they've refused to refund my money and told me that they can only give a free product and extend Flex 4 preparation exam. And guess what, I've chosen Flex 3 exam software and also failed and they've never extended my Flex 4 software

Using P4S's CCNA right now to take the exam at the end of this month.
The english in the questions is so bad that it is definately translated from some foriegn source. It makes me nervous so I am using ExamCram3 with a study partner and cisco.com's labs as well. This week I'll get some time on some actual gear too.
Update: I passed the CCNA ICND1 the first time out and ICND2 the second time. P4S was an important part of my prep, but i used the ExamCram book and the full ICND 1-2 course materials for reference, plus I had access to a few routers and switches in a lab.
