Overview

Domotz is a remote monitoring and management platform for IT networks and IoT devices, popular with MSPs, integrators, and small IT teams. You deploy a lightweight collector at each site (on a Domotz Box, a virtual machine, Windows, Linux, a NAS, Docker, or a Raspberry Pi) and manage every site from one cloud dashboard.

Noteworthy features

  • Device discovery and monitoring: finds IP devices automatically and tracks status and performance.
  • Remote access: connect to, reboot, and manage devices without a site visit, including remote power cycling through supported PDUs and PoE switches.
  • Network diagnostics: speed tests, route analysis, and bandwidth checks.
  • Integrations: ticketing, RMM, and PSA tools, plus a vendor-built MCP server for AI agent workflows, included on every plan.
  • Security features: two-factor authentication, encrypted communications, and device vulnerability scans.

Pricing

Domotz updated its pricing in September 2026 and now charges per site (one collector per site) instead of per device. MSPs, IT teams, and commercial integrators pay $35 per site per month. MSPs and commercial integrators on 12-month terms get volume discounts down to $17.50 per site (500+ sites for MSPs); IT teams get no listed discount. Residential plans start at $20 per home and drop to $8 at volume. Unlimited users are included, and you can run a free discovery before buying. The model has changed more than once, so check Domotz’s pricing page for current terms.

Pros

  • Simple to deploy at many small sites
  • Affordable for small networks
  • Highly rated support and a clean interface

Cons

  • Less network depth than the tools ranked above it (limited flow analysis and configuration management)
  • Frequent pricing changes, which some users have flagged in reviews
  • Larger or segmented sites may need multiple collectors to cover every VLAN

User interface

Bottom line

Domotz is the easiest way to watch a lot of small sites without a lot of money or staff. It is not built for large or complex networks, which is why it sits at the end of our ranking, but for its target audience it is one of the best-rated tools available.
